Rebelling on the land and in the sea
Did you know that illegal fishing can destroy fisheries and pose a threat to the economic wellbeing of coastal villages? We work with Portugal's local communities and we're continually looking for better ways to support the economy and people’s livelihoods.
We're happy to have partnered with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society that stands for marine life protection and rebels at sea, while we keep watch on the shore. Let us share with you why this collaboration is important and contributes to our mutual effort for a better planet.
Sea Shepherd has been fighting for the oceans, marine life, and environmental protection from 1977 onwards.
Through their programs, Sea Shepherd has saved the lives of countless sea animals, from whales, dolphins and turtles, to sharks and even aquatic birds.
All this work isn't easy, fighting illegal fishing while supporting coastal communities takes a lot of time and effort.
Together with Sea Shepherd, we've designed a new e-bike and dedicated it to the oceans. 25% of the purchase price goes to support the heroic, ongoing work that Sea Shepherd does. Every bike order helps protect marine life.
What's Sea Shepherd all about? If you know, you know. But if you don't, this video will get you up to speed. We interviewed Chris Storey to run through how they operate, what they're working on right now, and how our collaboration came together.
